Often you want to evaluate a certain wavelength range for a whole time series of spectra and therefore want to cut the spectra to a defined wavelength range. This is the purpose of the script presented here, which can be downloaded here.
The program asks for the path and name (use wildcards) of the spectra, displays a list of the selected spectra for checking purposes and then asks for the wavelength range to be cut to. The trimmed spectra are then saved as fit, each with the wavelength range in the file name.
